What is Reiki?
The word Reiki means universal life force energy. Ki or Chi is the biomagnetic energy that all living things contain and radiate, it is also the energy of the Earth, the planets and the stars.

Reiki is a form of energy healing and energy work that accesses universal life-force. It has the ability to heal on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels and to give a Reiki treatment one must receive the attunements to have this energy in their auric field.

There are Reiki level 1,2,3 and master. In each different level the student would get attuned with different symbols. In level three and master they would be able to give attunements to others. In Reiki level one after receiving the attunement, one practices on oneself for 21 days before being able to receive Reiki level 2 attunement. Level 2,3 and master the attunement happens in the auric field and also put them in the hands - that means that when you put your hands on someone's body the healing energy would come through your hands.

Anybody can receive a Reiki session from a Reiki practitioner, and anybody can become a Reiki master as long as they go through all the attunements and stay in practice.
